LookLoot Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Stella Montis Inc. ("Stella Montis," "LookLoot," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use LookLoot, including the website at lookloot.gg, the LookLoot desktop application, capture features, APIs, documentation, dashboards, reward workflows, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree that we may handle information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services and uninstall any LookLoot software.

1. Information We Collect

LookLoot is built around gameplay capture. We design capture features to collect gameplay data and the service metadata needed to make capture, review, rewards, safety, support, and dashboards work ("Gameplay Data"). We do not design LookLoot to collect private non-gameplay information.

Gameplay Data may include:

  • gameplay video, clips, screenshots, frames, and related visual evidence;
  • game or gameplay playback audio captured during a gameplay session;
  • game-state data, game telemetry, in-game events, match, round, score, map, objective, roster, inventory, rank, scene, and similar game context;
  • gameplay input and action timelines, such as mapped game actions, keyboard/mouse/gamepad actions, fallback key codes, timing, foreground game process information, and capture method;
  • capture manifests, session IDs, segment IDs, timestamps, app ID, app version, device label, upload status, error logs, and diagnostic metadata;
  • website usage and attribution information, such as pages viewed, referring pages, campaign parameters, browser or device signals, and first-party identifiers used to measure visits and conversions; and
  • account, authentication, reward, payout, fraud-prevention, safety, support, and compliance information needed to provide the Services.

If you choose to connect a third-party gaming account, such as Steam, we may collect the account identifier and profile information needed to verify the connection, along with information that the platform makes available under your privacy settings. This may include your game library, playtime, recent activity, platform-specific playtime, achievements, and game genre or category metadata. LookLoot does not receive your Steam password; Steam handles sign-in and returns a verified account identifier.

LookLoot capture does not collect passwords, raw typed text, contact lists, browser history, personal files, emails, microphone audio, or audio from other applications. The current input policy is designed for gameplay actions with fallback keys and not for storing typed text.

Gameplay capture can still contain incidental information. For example, a capture may include usernames, gamer tags, game chat, in-game voice chat, overlays, notifications, or visible desktop content if those items appear on screen, are present in the game, or are included in gameplay playback audio. The current capture policy disables microphone capture and does not collect audio from other applications. You are responsible for configuring capture appropriately and avoiding capture of content you do not have the right to share.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;
  • authenticate accounts, issue device tokens, manage sessions, and provide support;
  • capture, upload, process, store, review, verify, and display gameplay submissions;
  • determine reward eligibility, support dashboards, and resolve disputes;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, manipulation, security incidents, and policy violations;
  • analyze capture quality, app reliability, gameplay analytics, and product performance;
  • sync connected game libraries, calculate playtime and genre distributions, show achievement progress, personalize the Services, and improve playtest matching;
  • measure website acquisition, registrations, and conversion attribution;
  • train, test, evaluate, and improve gameplay-related machine learning, automation, and verification systems using Gameplay Data, not private non-gameplay data;
  • process payments, payouts, tax, compliance, and support workflows; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, agreements, and policies.

We do not use Gameplay Data for cross-app behavioral advertising, and we do not sell Gameplay Data to data brokers.

3. How We Share Information

We may share information:

  • with service providers that help us host, store, stream, process, analyze, secure, support, and operate the Services;
  • with authentication, payment, payout, tax, compliance, support, storage, video, telemetry, and infrastructure providers;
  • with Whop to measure visits and attribute registrations or purchases connected to our Whop listing;
  • with partners, reviewers, sponsors, and other users as needed for capture review, reward eligibility, dashboards, support, fraud prevention, compliance, and disputes;
  • when required by law, subpoena, court order, government request, or other legal process;
  • when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect users, partners, LookLoot, the Services, or the public; and
  • in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or other business transaction.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party services, including their security, data processing, moderation, payment processing, platform rules, or enforcement decisions.

4. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the Services, legitimate business purposes, legal compliance, dispute resolution, safety, fraud prevention, reward programs, partner agreements, or other applicable program rules. Retention periods can vary based on the type of information, the reason we collected it, whether it is needed for active services or disputes, and whether law requires or permits a longer period.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Gameplay Data and account information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

LookLoot is intended to be available to players, including younger players where permitted by law and applicable platform, game, and program rules. Partners may not use the SDK in applications, games, websites, or services directed to children under 13 or where LookLoot would knowingly collect personal information from children under applicable law, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), unless LookLoot has expressly approved that use in writing and all required parental consent, notices, and compliance measures are in place.

7. Your Choices

You can stop using the Services at any time and uninstall any LookLoot software. You can disconnect a linked gaming account in account settings; disconnecting removes the imported library snapshot and the verified account link from your LookLoot account. You may contact us to request help with account, privacy, data access, correction, deletion, or other privacy questions. Some information may be retained when needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, reward programs, accounting, or other legitimate business purposes.

8. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated policy, changing the "Last updated" date, sending an email, showing an in-product notice, or using another reasonable method. The updated policy becomes effective when posted or as otherwise stated in the notice.

9. Contact
